This course will provide mental health practitioners with the fundamentals of developing individualised case formulations; an approach to understanding and responding to client needs, and aiding recovery from trauma for emergency services personnel.

The aims of this course are to: 

• Assist practitioners to enhance their case formulation skills when treating emergency workers 
• Support ongoing professional development for evidence-based practitioners.

After taking this course practitioners will be able to:

• Understand the principles underpinning the development of case formulations
• Develop individualised case formulations and formulation-based treatment plans in response to case vignettes.
